TARANG is an object-oriented parallel C++ code that can simulate incompressible fluid, magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), scalars, and Rayleigh Benard convection. At present we can solve for periodic and free-slip boundary conditions. The code scales reasonably well up to a grid size of 20483, and we hope to be able to go to 40963 and higher grids.
We are in the process of extending our code to
- No-slip boundary conditions
- Cylindrical geometry
- Spherical geometry, etc.
We welcome collaborations in developing the code further, testing, and usage for various physics and engineering applications.
